Modern family
Modern Family is a comedy series about a pretty irregular family.
Jay, around 60, father of two, is married to his second wife. She is 30 years younger than him, comes from Colombia, has a very strong accent; and, spoiler alert, is currently pregnant with their first (her second) child together.
His daughter, Claire, lives in a “classic” family: husband, three kids, and a huge house in the suburbs.
His son, in contrary, is a gay guy, lives with his boyfriend and their adopted Vietnamese baby.
The series isn’t strictly about discrimination, although it does have plenty of scenes dealing with the situation, but it shows beautifully that different can be normal too.
